LEARN TO KITESURF
IN MUI NE.

Everything a first-timer actually needs to decide: whether this beach suits you, how many days it takes, what to bring, and what we will tell you no about.

THE SHORT ANSWER

YES — AND HERE
IS WHY, EXACTLY.

Mui Ne is a beginner beach by geography, not by marketing. Four things do the work; everything else is a bonus.

01
WAIST-DEEP WATER

You can stand up for the first days. Nothing shortens the learning curve like being able to reset your feet whenever you want.

02
SIDE-ONSHORE WIND

The season wind comes across the beach, so a mistake drifts you along the shore rather than out to sea.

03
A SEASON YOU CAN BOOK

November to April is a real season, not a lucky week. You can plan a trip around it months ahead.

04
EVERYTHING IN ONE PLACE

Lessons, gear and storage within a minute of the water, so a windy hour never gets wasted on logistics.

TIME, NOT MONEY

HOW MANY DAYS
IT REALLY TAKES.

Days of wind, not days of holiday. Prices sit on the course pages and come from one dataset. This table is about outcomes.

DAYS WITH WINDWHAT YOU LEAVE WITHOUR HONEST VIEW
2 The basics, no riding Kite control on land, first body drags. You will understand the sport and you will not be riding. We say no to “can I learn in two days” rather than take the money.
4 — 5 Water start, short runs Board on, up on the water, both directions with resets. Most people’s first real ride happens here. The minimum we recommend for a first course.
7 — 10 Riding away on your own Upwind, self-rescue, packing down alone. The level that lets you rent anywhere in the world. The realistic target. Book this if you only come once.
14 + Independent and improving Transitions, control in stronger wind, and enough time that a flat day costs you nothing. Rental and storage make daily riding the cheap part.

WHAT A FIRST DAY LOOKS LIKE.

FIRST 45 MINUTES
ON THE SAND

Wind window, safety systems, how to let go. A trainer kite in your hands before anything bigger exists.

THEN
IN THE WATER

Body drag with the kite, waist-deep, learning what being pulled feels like on purpose rather than by accident.

END OF DAY ONE
BOARD ATTEMPTS

If control is there, the board comes out. If it is not, we spend the time where it is needed. The plan follows you.

AFTER
PACK DOWN

You learn to land, pack and put gear away. Unglamorous, and the part that makes you self-sufficient.

WHAT TO BRING.

SunscreenReef-safe, and more than you think
Rashguard or lycraUPF long sleeve beats sunburn
Boardshorts or swimwearSomething that stays on in water
Sunglasses with a strapThe strap is not optional
WaterA litre per session, minimum
Cap and flip-flopsThe sand gets hot by eleven
Contact lens or glasses planTell your instructor beforehand

Impact vest and school gear are provided with every lesson. Helmets on request, standard for children.

BEFORE YOU BOOK.

WIND DECIDES, NOT THE CALENDAR

Lessons are called in the morning by the instructor on shift. A cancelled slot moves; you never lose the day to a rule.

PRIVATE IS THE DEFAULT

One instructor, one rider, unless you ask to share. Sharing halves the price and roughly halves your time on the bar. We will say so.

NO CARD, NO CHECKOUT

You book by sending a WhatsApp summary. There is no account and no online checkout anywhere on this site, and payment details are confirmed with you in writing.

COME FOR LONGER THAN YOU THINK

The single most common regret we hear is a trip booked one week too short. Two spare days cost less than a second flight.

FOUR QUESTIONS
AND YOU WILL KNOW.

The course finder asks what you have done, how long you are here and who is with you — then shows the course, the days and the published price.
