A kite and wing centre on the beach at Mui Ne, Vietnam. We teach here, we ride here, and we have been doing both since 2007.

THE STORY

MUI NE.
SINCE 2007.

C2SKY was founded by Liz Kaiser and has been part of the kitesurfing scene in Mui Ne since 2007. It started as a school and it still is one: the rental and the storage exist because the people learning here needed them.

Mui Ne earns its reputation in the trade-wind season, when the north-east wind runs day after day across a long, shallow beach. That is why the school is here, and it is why the year has a shape: some months you can plan a trip around, and some months we will tell you to come another time.

LEARN

Private tuition on the beach, one instructor to one rider.

Most people are riding on their own inside 12 hours. We teach kitesurf and wingfoil, and we will tell you which one suits the week you are here.

Gear, storage and a camera pointed at the water.

Complete sets by the hour, the day or the week, storage on the same beach from €5 a day, and a live view of the spot before you leave for the beach.

We do not run a hotel. We do know Mui Ne, and we are happy to point you at places we know ourselves — near the water, near the centre, at the kind of budget you tell us about. Send your dates and who you are travelling with.

HOW WE TEACH

PROGRESSION
BEFORE EVERYTHING.

A kite is not difficult to fly. Doing it safely, in the right spot, on the right day, is the part that takes teaching, so that is what we sell.

CERTIFIED IKO + IWO
ONE RIDER, ONE INSTRUCTOR

Courses are taught private 1:1, or 2:1 if you arrive as two. Nobody is queuing for a turn on the kite.

THE SPOT FOLLOWS THE DAY

The teaching area is chosen for the wind, the tide and what you are working on. The open beach and the flat water are different tools.

SAFETY IS NOT A MODULE

Self-rescue, right of way and reading the window are taught alongside riding, not bolted on at the end of the course.

THE PEOPLE

TWO BEACHES.
ONE C2SKY.

We teach at two spots on this coast: the kite beach in front of the centre, and Wingfoil Beach for wings and flat water, and it is the same team on both. The instructors are the people who answer the messages, arrange the transfer and decide, on the morning, which beach your session belongs on.

That is the whole method: local knowledge, one rider to one instructor, and a spot chosen for the day you are actually here.

THE PLACE

TWO SPOTS,
ONE SEASON.

The kite beach is open coast and gets choppy exactly when it gets good. Wingfoil Beach is flat water and runs on its own seasonal window, roughly October to the end of April. We will tell you which one your week suits.
