This is the IKO progression as we run it. Nobody skips a step because they are impatient, and nobody pays extra to skip one.

THE BEACH, NOT THE BOARD
Wind window, right of way, how a kite behaves when you let go. Twenty minutes on sand that saves an hour in the water.

TRAINER AND BODY DRAG
You fly small, then you get pulled through waist-deep water on purpose, so being pulled never surprises you.

WATER START
Board on, one direction, then the other. Short runs, quick resets, an instructor within shouting distance.

AWAY ON YOUR OWN
Upwind, self-rescue, packing down alone. This is the step that decides whether you can rent anywhere in the world.

WE DID NOT WRITE.
An external standard is the only kind worth showing. It fixes the syllabus, the ratios and the assessment, and it means the card you leave with is recognised at the next school you walk into, anywhere.

WINGFOIL SCHOOL
Both certifications are current. School-level certification is shown here; individual instructor levels are published per profile once each person confirms them.
IKO VERIFIED
International Kiteboarding Organization. Sets the kitesurf syllabus, the student card and the instructor levels we teach to.
IWO VERIFIED
International Wingfoil Organization. Covers the wing progression, from the first flag-out to riding on foil, to the same external standard as our kite teaching.

Progress is logged against the standard, not our own scale, so the next school reads it in seconds.
CALLING THE DAY
WHO DECIDES,
AND WHEN.
The instructor on shift decides, on the beach, looking at the water — not a forecast the night before. You get told early, and you get told honestly.

Wind and water are read at the beach at the start of the day. If a lesson cannot run safely, you hear it in the morning, not at your slot.
MID-SESSION INSTRUCTOR
A session can be cut or moved shallower at any point. A shortened lesson is logged and completed later — nobody loses time because the sea changed.
BEGINNERS FIRST SCHOOL RULE
When wind is strong, first-timers move to the sheltered end or wait. Independent riders are unaffected, that is the point of two riding spots.
YOUR CALL YOU
If you are not comfortable, we stop. No instructor here treats stopping as failure, and it never costs you the rest of the course.
IF THE WIND DOES NOT COME
If there is no suitable wind we always try to move your lesson to the next wind that works. You pay only for the lesson hours you actually complete — hours you do not use are not charged.

IMPACT VEST INCLUDED
Provided with every lesson, sized on the beach before you go in.
HELMET ON REQUEST
Available for any lesson and standard for children. Ask and it is on you before the kite is out.
SCHOOL KITE & BAR INCLUDED
Lesson gear is school gear — trimmed, checked and replaced on a schedule, not rented from a rack.
HAND SIGNALS TAUGHT
The signal set is taught on sand in step 01 and used all course. It works when nothing else can be heard.
RESCUE ON THE WATER TO BE CONFIRMED
Every instructor is trained in how assistance is called and who comes. The written version for guests is being finalised, so we go through it with you in person rather than publish half of it.
RADIO HELMETS NOT CLAIMED
We do not claim radio-assisted teaching. If it is introduced, it appears here first — not in an advert.
No logo wall, no certification numbers and no safety claim we cannot show you on the beach. Where something is still being finalised, it says so.
