What you will learn:
Get a solid start with our 3 hour, one-on-one wing foil session. This is the perfect way to get started with this exciting sport. This session gives you the ideal balance of instruction and water time, ensuring you not only learn the basics but also get plenty of practice under guidance of our experienced instructors. Whether you're looking for a new challenge or just want to experience the excitement of gliding over the water, this is the course for you.
What you will learn:
- Wing & Foil introduction, set up & safety.
- Wing Control. Get comfortable with basic wing control on the beach. Use of handles. Understanding wing angles and wind orientation. Practicing smooth transitions between wing positions.
- Beach board exercises, knee stand up. Find and maintain correct stance. Balance while managing wing power
- Beach self rescue, R.O.W.
- Flip wing on water, enter and exit with full gear
- Knee on board, control gear in knees and manage the power. Adjust the power to wind conditions
- Ride on knees, change direction. Begin practicing getting up on the board and moving on the water, the first step to foiling.
