Hi Girls,
I am pleased to announce that KB4girls has now reached the shores of Vietnam and will be coming to the kitesurfing mecca of S E Asia – Mui ne. As some of you might know, Mui Ne has a tendency to steal peoples heart. But what is it that attracts people? Well it is not only the buzz around town, food, culture and people that makes everyone want to stay but also the nice winds, blue skies and warm waters that this kitesurfing haven has to offer. All this makes for plenty of kiting and from this year onwards opportunities for KB4girls activities!
This brings me to announce the date for our first chapter activity ”KB4girls kite Together for charity“. The opening chapter will take place at the C2Sky KiteCenter on the 27th and 28th October 2012, the last weekend of the month and is aimed at beginners and those people who are unsure about the sport
The event will be divided into 2 days;
The first day will be about getting to know each other, discovering about kite surfing, learn how to fly a trainerkite, how to set up a infaltable kite and of course how to pilot a inflatable kite on land.
The second day we would like to take everyone in the morning on a little field trip to ‘Together for charity’, an English School for Vietnamese kids located in the heart of Mui Ne.
The School is a non-profit organization committed to supporting the young, ambitious and less fortunate children of Mui Ne village. We will have the opportunity the meet the children and see the good work and effort this charity has been doing.
Once we have returned back to C2Sky we will have a briefing and continue our kite session with some more land flying and ready for bodydragging in the water.
The 2 day course will be taught by qualified IKO instructors and directed to girls living in the area or any one passing by. You can either sign up on the day or contact us in advance by sending an email to info@c2skykitecenter.com
And remember this 2 day Taster course is free of charge, but of course a small donation to‘Together for charity, English School of Mui Ne’ would be much appreciated!
October is the start of our kiting season so it will be a great time to begin our KB4girls chapter but of course we are planning one event for each month there after, so please keep up to date by checking on the KB4girls calender. We look forward to welcoming kb4girls to our local community, and we have lots of ideas in mind for the following months including 25 km downwinders, exclusive tours, bbq’s and of course lots of parties.
